Youth Brass and Majorettes Vivat (Polonia)

Vivat! Orchestra is very well known for its beautiful costumes modelled after Old Polish noble traditions. Our great sound, interesting repertoire and high quality performance guarantee an unforgettable artistic experience. The musical part of our concerts and parades is complemented by performances of the girls’ choreographic group whose costumes are suited to the character and style of music (cancan, bohemian dance, polonez, copacabana). What differentiates us from all other choreographic groups however are our Old Polish noble costumes and sabres.

Since 2001, the orchestra is supervised by “The Youth Brass Band from Sierakow Wlkp.” Association, that is also helping other amateur music bands and dance groups, encouraging children and adolescents to develop their musical talents. Thanks to the Association, the orchestra takes part in many prestigious music events.

Vivat! Orchestra is synonymous with tradition dating back to 1928, as well as the vitality and enthusiasm of the young people forming this band today. At present it consists of 60 dancers and musicians, all at the average age of 16. The music and entertainment quality is proven by the number of concerts and their variety – beginning with international Brass Band Festivals (Denmark, Germany, Sweden), through concerts and street parades (France, Russia) to church masses given by archbishops. A very unique character of the music and dance shows performed by the young band members are the parades, very eagerly watched and warmly welcomed by every nation.
