The “Youth Marine Brass Orchestra” from the town of Kedzierzyn-Kozle (Poland) was formed in 1974. It became soon well-know and admired among the inhabitants of the city of the towns in the nearby.

The orchestral members have always consisted of the learners of the school and the school classes have been their workplace. Few years after the foundation of the band, the musical room, with an activities room and a studio inside, was established and since then orchestra has been practising there. During the year the orchestra performs about 80-100 times across the whole country as well as abroad, and it takes part in many cultural and sport events.

In 35 years the “Youth Marine Brass Orchestra” has been participating in many national and international festivals and contests, travelling all over Europe.
