adom Youth Band ‘Grandioso’ shows the best qualities of Radom.

Masters ©f Poland, vìce-championshìps of Europe, fìnaiìsts of the World Championshìps. Grandioso originated in 1978, and works at Helena Stadnicka Memorial Culture Club. The ensemble consist of children and young people between 8 and 22 years old. Mrs Renata Macìejewska ìs ìts manager and Darìusz Krajewski ìs ìt’s conductor.

Grandioso is one of the most titled youth wind bands in Poland.

The band is a laureate and a winner of many Polish and international music competions. It gets the highest ratings for its live concerts, marching parades and marching show parades. Grandioso is the only youth Polish band which has won ten times the Grand Prix at Polish Wind Youth Bands Festival in inowroclaw. In 2009, during 54* Internationale Rasteder Musiktage Grandioso won vìce-cham pionshi p of Europe for ìts show.

The band represented Poland in World’s Orchestra Championships organised by World Association of Marching Show Bands in Podsdam.

The band was qualified to the group of 16 best world’s orchestras and won 6^ place at MARCHPAST and 9* place at SHOW.

In 1993 during Orchestrades Europeems in Brive (France) Grandioso was entered to the Guiness Record Book as a part of the biggest symphonic orchestra in world.

The band has given numerous concerts in Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Russia, Latvia, France and Italy. Grandioso’s concert repertoire consist of ali kinds of music (march, patriotic, classica!, popular, light and ,of course, jazz).

The band gìves ali kinds of performances: occasionai, outdoor concerts and Street parades wìth nìce and always smiling majorettes, drummers and cheerleaders. The speciality of Grandioso is brilliant artistic drill.
