Their quick, precise and fun loving spirit makes the members of the musical folklore band , “la Velocissima di Rignano Flaminio”, true professionals.

This band originated after a parade in costume at the Rignanese Carnival in 2000. The band was so well received during the masquerade that they decided to go “official”. Since then the band has participated in many initiative and festivals both in their town and up and down the “boot”, even passing over the border into France. They have participated in the Festival of Saint Simeon in Devilles Les Rouen in France(september 2001), the Rome Christmas Festival(2001), SanRemo in Fiore(2005 and 2010), the XIII International Festival of Bands in San Remo(2008), the Acireale Carnival (2008 and 2009), the Torino Carnival (2011), the National Band Festival in Cilento (2011), the Bailleul Carnival (2012) and the Carnavaletto da Tre Soldi in Orbetello(2012).

The principal goal of this band is to bring joy and happiness through music to the sick and suffering in hospitals or public structures.
