The Artistic association Vidim was born with the intent to develop initiatives and mobilization in the artistic, cultural and sporting field of Guadalupe island.

And the mission of Vidim is the following:

• to participate in demonstrations as carnivals and important artistic events;
• to operate for the insertion of the young people through actions of formation;
• to develop activities for the environment and sport.

This group performs in traditional musics and dances, playing drums, trumpets and typical instruments, surprising for the quality of its music, for the enthusiasm and the heat of its participants.

After many years of activity, this group is one of the best from Guadalupe and its purpose is to promote all over the world the culture of Antilles islands, also participating in the tourist promotion of their own country. VIDIM gained the first prize both for 2011 and for 2012 carnival.

The group already performed many times in Europe (in France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Holand and Portugal).
