Founded in 1924 as Banda Alpina, La Banda Folk of the Magnificent Community of Folgaria has continued its activities for some forty years, only to be re-founded in 1976 by an enthusiastic group of fans. In over 35 years of recent history it has brought the complex music, the name and the joy of his own community throughout Italy and Europe.The Group in fact, he has performed in many locations including Rome, Santa Teresa di Gallura, San Quirico d’Orcia, Asti, Arezzo and at major events such as the World Schools Ski Alpenregion and held in Folgaria in 2010 and 2012 . Abroad, they must remember the trips to Prague in 2004 during the celebrations for the entry of the Czech Republic in the EU, at the Palau de la Música in Valencia in 2006 and in the opening parade of the Oktoberfest in Monaco of Bavaria in 2011 .An important element that characterizes the activities of the Corps Band of Folgaria is the care in appearance choreographed fashion shows, where figures are made simple and complex to march rhythm and real carousels parade. This ability has been recognized in various competitions, such as the International Competition Parade in Roncone in 2000, Oris in Val Venosta Merano in 2009 and in 2011.

Today the band has more than 65 elements of all ages, although there is a strong presence of young people, trained in courses and students in the narrow band before.
